Jen Moon was established in 1987 and has been specialized in IMD mold manufacturing for over 20 years. In the first few years we focused on the molds for various models of calculators and supplied them to the leading manufacturers of calculators in Taiwan such as Inventec Corporation, Cal-Comp, Inc. etc. as our major customers.
IMD mold has been designed and manufactured by Jen Moon for 5 year which is fulfilled to our customer and the market. IMD mold can be used in much more application beyond the following products. Regarding the molds, we had more than twenty-year experience on making the high quality molds. We are famous in the plastic injection molds, especially in the molds for 3C relative items. For the steel which used for the mold, no matter for main inserts or mold base/bolster, there are many kinds of steel can be chosen by customer. The most of steel we used for main inserts are P-20, NAK80/HHP20(H-13 Pre Harden, H-13 Fully Harden, even SUS-420 are no problem as well.), and we will use the Be-Cu and Viking on the areas where need to get the better shut-off/fitting on the vertical surfaces and the hot spot areas. We usually use the S50C/1050 for the bolster. It's very common to use on bolster. We also have many experiences on using the hot runner system. We had used the Moldmax, 26 drops hot runner system on the backlight mold. We also use other brands of hot runner system. Husky, Yudo, Mastip, Mold-Master, Incoe, of course, it's all depend on what client required. |
